World Day of Remembrance of Road Crash Victims

Join us on Sunday November 19, 2017 at  to help commemorate the World Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims.  We are doing things a little different this year by holding our Day of Remembrance on the World Day of Remembrance, which is the third Sunday in November.

The event will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 in downtown Kelowna at Waterfront Park, by the dolphins.

– FREE Balloons
– FREE Face Painting
– Fire truck to explore
Stuffy Riders (weather permitting)
– TD Spin-the-Wheel

1:00 PM   

– Guest Speakers
– Moment of Silence
– Awards given for our Video Contest – $500 in prizes!

 

The World Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims in Canada is a day set aside to remember people killed or seriously injured on Canadian roads, often in avoidable collisions, and those left to deal with the sudden and unexpected loss of those they love. We hope to see you there!
